Who shot Cali Swag rapper Monte "M-Bone" Talbert? Inglewood Police have been grappling with solving the crime since Talbert was gunned down outside a liquor store in May 2011.

Now the Inglewood PD are offering up a $25,000 reward for information leading to the apprehension of the gunman who shot Talbert twice in the head while the rapper sat in a vehicle.

"Police say the suspect pulled up in another vehicle and opened fire on Talbert," reports KTLA. "Witnesses said the suspect drove off and then returned to the scene, almost as if to make sure M-Bone was dead."

Relatives of slain Talbert and Inglewood police officers will distribute fliers today in an effort to solicit information about his fatal shooting, adds City News Service.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to call the Inglewood Police Homicide Section at (310) 412-5246, or the 24-hour anonymous hotline number "888-41-CRIME" (888/412-7463).
