A man was arrested recently in Ventura for secretly filming up women's skirts right in front of the County's government buildings, according to abc7.32-year-old Murat Aksu used a tiny video camera stashed in a briefcase to capture upskirt footage of the women, while he distracted them by engaging them in conversation. He affixed a government ID badge around his neck in order to appear official; reports indicate he had been spending time at the County complex since February.

Authorities were alerted to the crimes taking place when Aksu's suspicious behavior was reported to sheriff's deputies on the property. They conducted an investigation and search, and subsequently arrested Aksu. He was released on the 19th after posting bond.

The investigating authorities are asking for any other victims or witnesses to come forward; they can contact the Sheriff's Major Crime Unit at (805) 477-7000.
