Alleged Penis Chopping Wife Pleads Not Guilty to Using Kitchen Knife on Hubby's Junk, Tossing it in Garbage Disposal

Catherine Kieu, the Garden Grove woman accused of taking a kitchen knife to her husband's penis and tossing the severed genitals in the garbage disposal, has entered a not guilty plea in court today.Kieu, 48, and her husband reportedly had an argument at their home, and she served him funny-tasting tofu soup for dinner that may have been tainted. When her husband went to sleep that night, Kieu allegedly tied him up to the bed, woke him, then severed his penis in one cut.
After cutting his genitals, Kieu allegedly put them in the garbage disposal before calling 911.
Last month, Kieu was indicted on charges of torture and aggravated mayhem.
Following the attack, Kieu's husband said he was "in good spirits."
Kieu faces life in prison if convicted. She is being held on $1 million bail.
