A couple has been arrested after they allegedly robbed a mom in a parking lot then hit her with their car while trying to make a quick getaway, reports KTLA.

The mom, whose name hasn't been released, told police that she was walking through the lot in San Jacinto with her three small children when she was approached by a woman later identified as Lakeisha Pinkney. Pinkey, 26, assaulted the mom as her children looked on, then called out to her partner in crime, 23-year-old Michael Lewis Jr.

Lewis then held the mom while Pinkey stole money out of her purse.

The couple then got in their car and sped away, but not without first crashing into the victim. They were arrested soon thereafter. According to My Valley News, Pinkey was arrested on charges of robbery and assault with a deadly weapon, and Lewis was arrested on charges of robbery.
