Cop Tackles Motorcyclist After High-Speed Chase

Police officers are getting showy. After a high-speed chase through East L.A. that saw cops going after a motorcyclist this morning, a CHP motorcycle officer cut the bike off and tackled the driver.
KTLA reports that the chase began after the biker failed to yield. He then fled the scene, going over 100 miles per hour on surface streets ant eh 5 Freeway. He was eventually stopped by the officer who would subdue him at about 9:15 a.m. The officer had his gun drawn when he tackled the suspect, cuffed him and took him into custody.
