While 300-400 people are being let back into their homes on the Eastside of the fire in Sierra Madre, Fifty-one homes in Pasadena were evacuated late this afternoon, according to the Pasadena Star News:

Authorities have evacuated 51 homes along Park Vista Drive and Skycrest Drive in northern Pasadena as the fire creeps westward, according to Pasadena Fire officials. More evacuations in the north Hastings Ranch area may be necessary later in the evening if weather conditions worsen, officials said.

Expected cooler temperatures and no winds in the forecast may aid firefighters in knocking down this fire soon. But the LA County Fire Department warns that looks can be deceiving -- you never know where and when it can flare up again.
