DTLA's Federal Building Evacuated After Woman Makes Weird Bomb Threat
A woman forced authorities to evacuate the Federal Building in downtown Los Angeles and close numerous streets when she made a bomb threat.
The woman entered the Federal Building at 300 N. Los Angeles St. today at about 11 a.m. and claimed to have a bomb, City News Service reports.
The woman later exited the building and sat on the front steps with a backpack, refusing to leave and yelling at officers, KTLA reports. A robot was seen via aerial footage delivering a phone to the woman.
The Federal Building has been evacuated and several nearby streets are closed. The Los Angeles Street ramps from the 101 Freeway are also closed, according to CHP.
