A man riding a bicycle in South L.A. was shot and killed yesterday afternoon, reports City News Service.

The man, who was identified today as 30-year-old Darnell Charles, was pedaling down the street near Menlo Avenue and Imperial Highway at about 3:20 p.m. when a car pulled up to him, according to the news site.

Charles allegedly exchanged words with the driver, at which point the driver pulled out a gun and shot him, then sped off.

Police are still looking for the suspect.
