Arnold Schwarzenegger Can Finally Take Off His Serious Face
It looks like Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is going to be as happy to throw off the shackles of political responsibility as former president George W. Bush was when he could finally get the eff out of the White House. Variety reports that Schwarzenegger tweeted the following about his intentions to go back to Hollywood:
"Exciting news. My friends at CAA have been asking me for 7 years when they can take offers seriously. Gave them the green light today."
One imagines that it will be nice for him to return to the loving, open arms of the silver screen, but it still seems incredibly silly for anyone to ricochet back and forth between doing very serious things like passing budgets that will effect millions of people, to pretending to be a German soldier in WWII, a role that Variety reports he's considering.
It's becoming hard to take him seriously at...well, anything.
