Car Falls 400 Feet Off Malibu Cliff, One Person Killed

After their car fell 400 feet over the edge of a cliff in Malibu, three passengers were injured and one was killed, reports the Ventura County Star. Rescue workers got a call about the accident from California Highway Patrol at around 3:35 a.m. The deceased passenger was dead when firefighters arrived, and two of the other passengers were transported to Ventura County Medical Center for life-threatening injuries.
The car had gone off the edge of Deer Creek Road, approximately one mile north of PCH. The person that was killed hasn't yet been identified.
