ThreeTwo people have been killed and at least two others were injured in two shootings that appear to be connected in Downey this morning.

The first shooting was reported around 11:15 am in the 8700 block of Cleta Street. It appears that there were two separate sites where victims were shot. One site was in the at a business called United States Fire Protection, firefighters told NBC Los Angeles.

The second site appears to be at the home of the business' owner just a few blocks away on the same street, KCAL reports.

Initially, it was reported that three people were killed but authorities are now saying that only two were killed. Two others were transported to the hospital, but we're hearing wildly different reports about how many people were injured in the shootings altogether. ABC 7 says 5 others were injured in the shooting and CBS says only 3 others were injured.
