25-Year-Old Man Stabbed to Death in Koreatown Apartment
Officers found a 25-year-old man stabbed to death in an apartment in Koreatown after responding to an early-morning call today, reports City News Service.
Neighbors had allegedly heard fighting coming from the apartment, including items being thrown around and a man screaming. When police arrived at the Villa Sir Francis Drake apartments at 841 S. Serrano Ave. at about 2:40 a.m., the man, who hasn't been identified, had suffered stab wounds to his head and still had a knife stuck in his back.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another man, wearing a white tank top, was seen leaving the area on a bicycle.
