An 18-year-old boy was shot and killed while attempting to rob a house, the Daily Breeze reports. The shooting happened in Lynwood at about 10 p.m. last night, according to police. The young man was shot by a resident of the home, which was in the 11000 block of Harris Avenue, and died at the scene. His name has not been released.

The house was across the street from Lynwood High School, where the teen graduated last year.
