A teenage girl escaped an attacker on Monday afternoon while waiting outside of her high school to be picked up, and police say that the would-be assailant is now on the run.

ABC 7 reports that the 17-year-old girl was standing near Valencia High School in Santa Clarita when she was grabbed by a man described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and 250 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and acne scars. She broke free and hid, and the man got away in an old Toyota pick-up. Anyone with info is asked to call the Santa Clarita Sheriff's Department at (661) 799-5141.
