Dodger Stadium, Other COVID-19 Testing Sites To Close For Holidays
L.A. County’s COVID-19 testing sites will be modifying their schedules for the holidays, beginning on Dec. 24 and running through Jan. 1.
Officials announced Wednesday that 14 sites — including Dodger Stadium — will be closed on Dec. 24, and all testing sites will be closed in observance of Christmas Day. The same 14 sites will be closed on Dec. 31, and all sites will once again be shut down on Jan. 1, 2021, in observance of New Year’s Day.
The coronavirus continues to surge at unprecedented rates in L.A., flooding hospitals and exhausting health care workers.
On Tuesday, health officials announced nearly 13,000 more coronavirus cases and 88 new deaths related to the virus, bringing the total deaths in the county to over 9,000.
