Topline:
The Dodgers will play the Toronto Blue Jays Monday night in Game 3 of the World Series. It's L.A.'s first home game in the series, and first pitch is at 5 p.m.
Where do things stand? The series is tied 1-1 after two games in Toronto. Now, the Dodgers have three games at home with a chance to win the best-of-seven series at Chavez Ravine.
Who is pitching? Tyler Glasnow is the starting pitcher tonight for the Dodgers. He follows Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who pitched all of Game 2 — a rare feat.
How to get there: If you're lucky enough to have tickets for the game, you can catch a free ride on Metro's Dodger Express Bus from Union Station in downtown or the multiple locations in the South Bay, including the Harbor Gateway Transit Center in Gardena. Plan ahead, the express runs every 10 minutes and starts 2.5 hours before game time.
Didn't get a ticket? The game will be broadcasted live on Fox, channel 11.
History in the making: The Dodgers won the World Series last year, making them the defending champions. If they clinch the championship this year, it will be the first time a team pulled off a consecutive win since the New York Yankees won three in a row from 1998-2000.
