The Los Angeles City Council has voted to ban overnight RV parking along certain streets in West and South L.A.

The council voted 11-2 with councilmembers Hugo Soto-Martinez and Eunisses-Hernandez voting against the move.

Councilmembers Traci Park and Heather Hutt introduced the motion — they represent districts 11 and 10.

According to the motion, the ban would address the "increased problem" of oversized vehicles parked along certain streets that "constrict travel lanes, thereby creating dangerous situations."
