Good Morning and Happy Thanksgiving week! More rain is on the way to the Southland, with most of it likely falling late tonight and into tomorrow evening. Don’t worry though, the skies should dry up by Thanksgiving.
National Weather Service forecasters say Los Angeles County will likely see less than a half-inch of rain, with no widespread flooding or significant snow. The heaviest rainfall is expected to fall Tuesday.
In Los Angeles, it'll be mostly cloudy today, with a 20% chance of showers in the afternoon and a slight chance of rain in the evening. Expect highs in the mid to upper 60s in most areas.
In the San Gabriel Valley, it’ll be mostly cloudy with a 40% chance of rain this afternoon, highs will be in the mid-60s. Tonight it will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain in the evening then a chance of rain after midnight too. Lows will be in the lower to mid-50s.
Temperatures will be below normal for the next several days, with highs 6 to 10 degrees below normal today and tomorrow. Wednesday temperatures will begin to trend upwards and chances for sunshine will increase.
Thanksgiving Day is likely to be dry, with just a 10% to 15% chance of light showers.
Right now, there's a 30% chance of rain Friday and Saturday, with mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures will likely be warmer as well.
