    Egg No. 2 is here.

Jackie and Shadow, Big Bear Lake’s beloved bald eagle duo, have laid their second egg of the season, according to Friends of Big Bear Valley and Big Bear Eagle Nest Cam. It happened three days after Jackie laid her first egg in January.

The internet's favorite feathered couple is right on track. Bald eagles lay an average of two eggs in what's called a clutch, with the second egg, according to the group, typically comes within 3 to 5 days after the first.

The majestic birds also delay incubation until the whole lot is laid.

After egg No. 2 arrived, the group said, Jackie started that very night to incubate.
