    Topline:

Fifteen people were injured after a tram car crashed last night during Universal Studios Hollywood's World-Famous tram tour.

What happened: The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the incident at around 9:00 p.m. Saturday, and those injured were sent to hospitals for treatment for what the fire department said were "minor injuries."

Saturday night's incident comes just days before the theme park's tour is scheduled to celebrate its 60th Anniversary. The tram tour has been operating since 1964, giving visitors a backlot look at how the movies are made.

The anniversary celebration includes updates to the iconic tram ride, including a section of the tour were passengers can step off and take photos with a new replica of the Hollywood sign.

What's next: No cause of the crash has been identified. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
