LA's Hotel Pools Where You Don't Even Have To Be A Guest To Swim

As we all know, it's not as hot this summer as it was last summer, but that doesn't mean we still aren't breaking a sweat if we step outside after 11 a.m. Since it's supposed to stay in the 80s and 90s for the foreseeable future, here are a few hotels in L.A. where you can get into the water even if you aren't a hotel guest. (Fair warning: Most require you to purchase a day pass.)
This isn't the fanciest of pools, but non-guests can get in for $10 a day between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. If what you want is water in which you may immerse your body in the northeast area of the city, this is a great bet.

A boutique hotel, Shade is located a few blocks from the beach. Non-guests can get in to the pool for $20 a day, and it's open from 10 a.m. until sundown. Call first to make sure there isn't an event being held at the time you want to go.

A quick look at their prices today showed options starting at $18.75.
Other options for dunking your body in cool, clear liquid on hot sunny days include the many pools owned and operated by the city and... you know, the ocean.
