Junior Seau's House Was Burglarized After His Death
In the days following Junior Seau's death, one person saw fit to burglarize the former NFL player's house, reports the AP.
The thief, who struck on May 7, snuck in through a doggie door, made his or her way to a garage, and grabbed a $500 bike that belonged to a friend of Seau's. The burglar then left via the garage door. Nothing else was taken.
As of today, no arrests have been made.
Seau was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest on May 2. He didn't leave a note, and friends and family have been wrestling with coming to grips over why he killed himself. Many believe that he shot himself in the chest in order to preserve his brain for scientific research, although his family has not yet made a decision as to whether or not to allow Seau's brain to be studied.
