On the heels of the mass eviction of Occupy LA protesters, during which 292 people were arrested, 11 members of Occupy San Diego were arrested today for trying to set up tents at the city's Civic Center Plaza, reports Reuters.
Seven people were charged with illegal lodging, and one was charged with resisting arrest, according to Sign On San Diego. The ninth, who had been protesting from atop a tree and allegedly broke some branches, was charged with vandalism.
Since October 7, over 100 people have been arrested in connection to Occupy San Diego.
