Snow-Capped Mountains Are In This Weekend's Forecast

Today's rain, chilly temperatures and high surf are expected to continue into the evening tonight, according to the National Weather Service.
If you're in the Antelope Valley, bundle up for below-freezing temperatures. Definitely keep an eye on news reports, cross your fingers and make back-up plans if you are heading over the Grapevine tonight. If you're up in the mountains, you can expect some snowfall (if it hasn't hit you already).
"Snow levels will drop to around 4,500 feet this afternoon and down to between 3,500 and 4,000 feet this evening and overnight resulting in some snow accumulation at higher elevations," says a report from the National Weather Service.
Tomorrow sounds like a perfect day for photographers to catch those snow-capped mountains.The skies are expected to clear and it's supposed to warm up, but by Sunday it is expected to be rainy again.
