Another OC Retirement Community Shooting
Authorities report a 77-year-old man and his 72-year-old wife are dead, "after shots were heard in the gated retirement community of Laguna Woods Village Monday afternoon," reports the OC Register.
A caretaker reportedly heard an elderly couple arguing in the 50 block of Calle Aragon around 1:05 p.m. Shots were fired and the woman ran out of the house followed by more shots said a spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
The Orange County Swat team surrounded a retirement village according to KTLA and when deputies arrived on the scene they found the couple dead.
This incident follows a November shooting at another OC retirement community where an 88 year old man shot and killed his wife of 70 years in what some consider to be a "mercy killing."
