- An off-duty LAPD officer was shot early this morning as he left his City Terrace home to go play golf. The suspects fled, and the officer, a 14-year vet is expected to make it.

- 2 women were arrested at LAX this morning for possession of illegal drugs. Their names, and the kinds of drugs they were carrying have not been released.
- 6 teenagers were found roaming around a Valencia bookstore last night--not because they didn't know what to make of those book-things, but most likely because they'd taken a narcotic or medication.
- USC Medical Center has come under scrutiny for employing a convicted rapist as an X-Ray tech for 10 years. The employee was fired last August.
