The LA Times lightly digs up the dirt on the digger himself:
- Blogging was so easy, he took it up as a hobby
- Launched in 2004, the original PerezHilton.com was called PageSixSixSix.com, but the real Page Six people -- the New York Post -- sued him.
- The website's "name reflects his Cuban roots and 'the wacky world of celebrities.'"
- Paris Hilton loves the name.
- Per day: 40 posts, 7 million pageviews, $54,000 for one day of advertising
- Fame does not equal a life of sex
Perez Hilton can be seen at his best when he was kidnapped by YouTube star LisaNova.

Nothing about Perez is interesting. "Perez" and "interesting" shouldn't even be in the same sentence.
It's a shame that Perez gets so much press when the bitchy wit (and content) of Michael K of Dlisted.com is unparalleled.
dear PantheonZeus,
this is the second time today that i caught you leaving a completely logical comment that i totally agree with.
And perez used to live next door to my cousin, from my cousin's apartment building's hallway you could see straight into his apartment. The dude is the biggest slob on planet earth. just addin gto the "fun facts" list.
he's not worth my time
Why is this piece of shit getting press?
Amazing to me that any one can get rich or famous being a, dosen't have a life, celeb obsessed, gossip monger.
From what I've seen he even highjacks other people's work with out paying for it, and profits from it by posting it on his own website.
Let the intellectual property lawsuits fly.
#2 and #; So true, Dlisted.com is a million times better!! And as an added bonus, the dude never posts pics of himself and is obviously not interested in being a celebrity.
perez stopped being remotely entertaining when he started getting invited to hang out with the people he is supposed to be mocking. i can't take his unfunny britney-bashing when he chokes on his namesake's cock left and right. the superficial and dlisted are vastly superior gossip sites.
not to sound pious but I don't read or care for celeb gossip sites at all. I think celeb gossip is fueling our nation's increasing stupidity and it has made 'stars" out of losers like paris hilton and whatever reality show people seem to care about. But this "guy," this perez Hilton seems like the worst, lowest form of humanity.
