- Not to be a downer on your "hump" day, but just in case it was off your radar as of late, don't forget to worry about the radioactive waste that threatens our splendid California coast.
- What's that saying about people in glass houses? What about owners of glass houses who put sexual images on their personal websites then go to work as a judge condemning those who have similar interests and practices?
- The troubled King-Drew Medical Center may have just been resuscitated by the University of California, who are considering taking over running the hospital.

Rattlesnakes in Inglewood are extremely uncommon. You know what else is extremely uncommon? People wandering around in parks in Inglewood in the middle of the night. Especially people who happen to have a bucket and bag handy to put a snake in, and the presence of mind to do so after they were already bitten by it. I have a feeling we're not getting the whole story there.
