Hey Ladies of LA, Guess Who's Single?

mayor tony with president clinton

Los Angeles' most-powerful bachelor just got more eligible. After being outted by a sex-blogger nearly a year ago that his marriage was on the outs, it soon became news that Mayor Tony was playing hide-the-taquito with the hottest anchor on Telemundo.

Tonight the LA Times is reporting that the Mayor has one less Christmas card to send out this year.

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and television news reporter Mirthala Salinas have ended their romantic relationship, two sources familiar with the situation said Friday.

Months after revelations about the affair damaged the mayor's political standing and devastated Salinas' broadcasting career, the two sources said the relationship disintegrated weeks ago.

"They broke up earlier in the fall. They've both moved on. And Antonio is focused on his relationships with his kids," said one person who said he learned about the breakup in October.

The other source -- who described himself as a longtime friend of Villaraigosa's -- said the relationship ended two or possibly three months ago.

Regarding the paper's sources say the Mayor would like to spend more time with his kids, something tells us that this story is far from over. "Developing..." one might say.

We've all seen this too many times. He is just another guy that couldn't think with the big head. He lost everything and the most important thing he lost is not his wife.... but his family and his integrity. Poor guy.

Sad...but not as tacky as rudy giuliani thank god. Maybe this will free up some time so that he can put a little effort into resolving the WGA strike.
