Worst Persons of the Week - Scabs on Craigslist
While some of the most creative people in Hollywood were striking for the right to get a cut of residuals from Internet sales of the shows they create, some of the biggest local losers have decided to try to take advantage of the situation.
Defamer has a nice little rundown of many of the Craigslist postings of would-be writers who are more than willing to cross picket lines to get theirs. Selfishly.
No offense but do you really want Lost being written by dudes who are so lame that they can't figure out how to get a job writing tv in 2007 when there are 100s of channels and tons of shows?
Plus if the best writing you can muster to get a writing gig is basically "I will bend over for you. I don't care. You see, I am poor," then you haven't delivered anything motivating or even tragic, you've simply personified the stylings of pathetic douches.
If we wanted that we'd watch C-SPAN more.
