Those Things will Kill You

No sex in the champagne room. No crying in baseball. No place like home. No alcoholic beverages served after the 7th inning.

Add another to the list: No smoking in multi-unit, multi-story residences in Belmont, California.

That’s right, when the law takes effect it will be illegal to smoke cigarettes in your home if you share common floors or ceilings with other units. John Locke would be fuckin pissed.

Located between San Jose and San Francisco, Belmont is, according to their website: ‘Known for its wooded hills, views of San Francisco Bay, and stretches of open space...’ and they’re about to known for their ridiculous laws.

Marijuana is not addressed by the law and presumably still illegal (kind of), though I wonder if it is now more illegal to smoke weed inside. This would probably create some confusion if Ron Paul were elected President.
