Dodgers Launch ThinkCure

Think Cure Sign

For once I'm not going to bitch about the Dodger's pitching or offense.

Yesterday Dodger's Owner and Chairman Frank McCourt announced the launch of ThinkCure, a charitable fund in conjunction with City of Hope and Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, as the official charity of the Dodgers organization.

ThinkCure will raise funds to help both institutions to develop new approaches to the treatment and hopeful cure of cancer.

Today it was announced that KCAL9, the Dodger's broadcast partner, has signed on to be the first major sponsor of ThinkCure.

KCAL9 will use on-air broadcasts of "Think Blue TV", new broadcasts, public service announcements and special promotions for exposure of ThinkCure. They will also dedicate a special section on their website to the charity fund.

During the current homestand, the Dodgers have transformed the Think Blue sign in the parking lot to read "Think Cure".

For more information, you can go to the ThinkCure website or call 866-554-CURE (2873).
