Extra, Extra - 'Hey Mister' You're Under Arrest

Just to clarify...
Lee Baca oversees the LA County Sheriffs, not the LAPD. The LAPD is for the City of LA and is overseen by Police Chief Bill Bratton. So, Jackie Chan is either supporting the Sheriff or the Chief, but chances are not both.
On a side note: Bratton will be roasted this week on Thursday at the 10th Annual Political Roast (the largest such roast in California)... look for it.

thanks for the tip. Yeah, didn't mean to slip an LAPD reference in there -- this is between Chan and Baca, the announcement came from the LA County Sheriffs Dept.
If Jackie Chan makes a showing at the Bratton roast it should be completely unconnected (although, the fact remains that Rush Hour 3 is set for August release).
