Oregon Ends UCLA's Perfect Record

Bruins Lose to Ducks

In a stunning victory, bouncing back from their previous night's loss, the Ducks managed to defeat the Bruins last night 68-66. This takes UCLA out of their undefeated season.

With UCLA down, Darren Collison nailed a crucial 3-pointer to tie the game at 66. Aaron Brooks then nailed a jumper to give Oregon a 2 point lead over the Bruins. UCLA came back trying to fight the clock but ultimately could not penetrate. Josh Shipp attempted another 3-pointer at the buzzer that came up short, giving Oregon their at-home win.

Coach Howland expressed his concern over going into overtime with so many fouls, which is why he attempted to win the game by penetrating then kicking the ball out for 3.
