New Rule: Ken Mehlman is Gay

Kicking the party while they're down, last night Bill Maher went on CNN's "Larry King Live" and was as politically incorrect as always, stating that many chiefs of staff in Washington DC are homosexuals.

When asked by King to name names, Maher threw out the name of no one less than GOP party leader Ken Mehlman himself. Larry said he was unaware that Mehlman, who is rumored to be stepping down as RNC Chairman because of Tuesday's debacle, likes making out with men.

King: I never heard that. I'm walking around in a fog. I never...Ken Mehlman? I never heard that. But the question is... Maher: Maybe you don't go to the same bathhouse I do, Larry

But if that wasn't shocking enough, CNN (which airs "Larry King Live" live, and then shows repeats through the night) quickly edited out Maher's accusation for the rebroadcasts, and even scrubbed the official CNN transcript. All of which, including the video can be found on
Huffington Post. And with the lightning speed of what we wish FEMA was capable of, YouTube took down the unedited video from their site and sent a cease-and-desist letter to John from the AmericaBlog. John, of course, being best known for revealing to the world that the White House had been allowing special privileges to a gay male hooker in that they gave him day passes to the White House Press Briefings every day for a year.

Maher didn't retreat today. In his column on Huffington Post this morning he compared the Republicans to Scientologists, something neither group is probably very thrilled about.
