Weird Signs Around Los Angeles: Liquor (You Are My King)
Another in our installment of strange signs around Los Angeles, we now turn to the intersection of Olympic and Fairfax. This one has always caused us to drive a bit slower as we pass by, trying to figure it out, and possibly causing a traffic hazard in the process. What the heck does it mean? Is it...You Are My King Liquor? Or Liquor, You Are My King? And the way that R is being either raised or lowered into place by some invisible crane, it just never ceases to amaze us.
No doubt about it, whoever designed this sign was either drunk, deranged, or both. Or maybe the King of Liquorland.
