I don't know why it seems weird to me.... I mean, I've heard the same comments made about Hummer H2 and Escalade drivers ad-naseum, and I always nod my head in agreement.
Maybe it's the tim "the toolman" taylor in me that has a little appreciation for the cool truck, or maybe that it's a Chevy blazer and not the de-facto hipster Bronco or International Scout. Maybe it's just that driver is rollin' top down on a crisp january day, king of the world that lets me think he's alright and the comment is trite when applied to him.... i don't know.
It just seems like such an easy shot to take, just because his truck is a lil bit o' country & a lil bit o' rock'n'roll. I feel it necessary to point out that those are the stock wheels for that particular Chevy Blazer (from the back anyway, I can't tell if he's got some $bling$ rims or whatevs) and that there's gonna be a kickass monster truck rally at Angel Stadium this weekend! (in seven years living in l.a. I haven't seen or heard about any, so this is exciting!).

I agree with Oliver. Its actually a cool, old, big vintage truck. Leave the guy alone. For all we knows he's a silverlake hipster with a big dick. Picking on the obvious choices like a Hummer or a REAL monster truck would have been much more clever/funny. That old chevy doesnt really look at all that big....
Ha! This made me laugh...to answer your question...not as long as his tailpipe.

Eh, I don't know, it's just a truck. Didn't find this particularly insightful or clever.
