Weekend-a-Go-Go
LAist is pleased to bring our favorite Angelenos a varied and interesting list of events this weekend. There are happenings from the Valley to Downtown and from the Westside to Pasadena. Naturally, LAist expects everyone to make it to all of them.
Former Blues Clues companion Steve Burns—who released the popular Songs for Dustmites last year, is performing with Mt Egypt at Spaceland. Doors open at 9:00 PM; tickets are $8.00.
KCRW presents Sufjan Stevens with Joanna Newsom and Denison Witmer at the Troubadour. Doors open at 8:00 PM; tickets are $12.00 advance.
4-track pop master David Garza will be playing at Largo. Doors open at 8:30 PM.
Part of One Colorado's on-going Blonde Film Festival, tonight the series features the 1956 Marilyn Monroe classic Bus Stop. Admittance is free, but LAist recommends arriving early to get a good seat. The movie begins at 8:30 PM.
The 40th anniversary restored print of My Fair Lady will be showing at 2:00 and 8:00 PM at the Alex Theatre in Glendale.

MOCA at the Geffen Contemporary hosts the Rodney Graham Art Talk, featuring the artist discussing the retrospective Rodney Graham: A Little Thought. The talk begins at 3:00 PM.
