Congratulations to the brave and strong-hearted mother who gave birth today to six boys and two girls weighing between 1.8 pounds and 3.4 pounds, according to the Associated Press. It all happened between 10:43 a.m. to 10:48 a.m. Yes, that's five minutes, eight babies. Apparently, this is the second time in history live octuplets have been born. Congrats, again, to the family!

27-year-old Sharome Frazier's son is still alive on life-support at UCLA-Harbor Hospital after apparently shooting him early this morning in Inglewood. Frazier died of what looks like a self-inflicted wound after police were called to his house for what appeared to be an attempted suicide, but a motive is still unclear at this point. The salmonella peanut butter recall is still in effect and one of Los Angeles' favorite grocery stores had to pull back a few products, too. Trader Joe's late last week announced that they were taking caution and de-shelving their Peanut Butter Chewy Coated & Drizzled Granola Bars, Nutty Chocolate Chewy Coated & Drizzled Granola Bars and Sutter’s Formula Cookies "because the products contain peanut butter that was manufactured by Peanut Corporation of America (PCA), which is the focus of an ongoing Salmonella investigation," they said in a press release.
