The area where Venutra Blvd. meets Woodman Ave in Sherman Oaks is known as one of Los Angeles' great restaurant rows. And with the well-known Nata's Bakery and popular newcomer Nola Ice (although they are on winter hiatus right now), the row already has top notch sweets.

But now we're hearing that not one, but two ice cream type places are planning to open. It's going to be a fattening summer.

First, Vitello's Express will take over the dry cleaner space behind them to eventually open a gelato shop.

Further down the boulevard towards Studio City, the geniuses behind Menchies has plans to expand from their Valley Village flagship store.
