Early in the afternoon, Brooklyn-based psych rock outfit Oneida will be performing at the Echo. And, lastly, Melbourne-based twee-pop act the Summer Cats will be performing at the Echo late in the evening for this week's edition of Part Time Punks. But we strongly suggest doing whatever it takes to get into the Hollywood Bowl to catch Maine-based folk troubadour Ray LaMontagne. Local ruddy-haired songstress Jenny Lewis (LAist Review, #2, #3, #4) and LAist favorites Blitzen Trapper (LAist Interview) are slated to kick things off.
