But we strongly suggest heading over to the Silver Lake Lounge to catch local electro pop singer-songwriter Evan Voytas. LAist favorites, local experimental indie pop quartet Hands and Tape Deck Mountain are slated to kick things off.
  • Tonight local indie rockers White Arrows will be headlining the Satellite, formerly known as Spaceland. LA-bred funk troupe Inclined are poised to grace the Silver Lake Lounge. And, lastly, Brooklyn-based dance-infused punk duo MKNG FRNDZ will be headlining the Smell in Downtown. But we strongly suggest heading over to Three Clubs in Hollyweird to catch local electro-infused indie rock duo boxViolet [*UPDATE 4:19PM This performance has been canceled].
  • Tonight Ohioan DJ Pase Rock will be gracing Cinespace in Hollyweird. Local indie folk outfit Marvelous Toy are poised to take on LaBrie's in Glendale. And, lastly, eletro pop duo Greenhorse will be performing at the Satellite, formerly known as Spaceland. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Echoplex to catch LA-based rapper Busdriver (LAist Review, #2).
  • Tonight Austin-bred duo the Long Tangles will be performing at the Silver Lake Lounge. Local shoegaze outfit Franco Near Death is poised to take on the Satellite, formerly known as Spaceland. And, lastly, experimental electro pop duo Captain Ahab will be gracing the hole-and-corner Pehrspace. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Smell in Downtown to catch local singer-songwriter Devon Williams.
  • Tonight local indie rock act Princeton (LAist Interview) will be taking on the Echo with none other than local indie rock quintet the Sea of Cortez, who are touring in anticipation of their yet-to-be-released studio debut, 2010's Make It Sound. Local pop quintet Big Whup are poised to grace Pehrspace in celebration of their latest music video release. And, lastly, Echo Park-bred indie rockers LA Font will be performing at the Silver Lake Lounge. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Troubadour to catch English folk rockers Stornoway, who released one of the year's most promising releases, 2010's Beachcomber's Windowsill.
  • Tonight Arizona-bred indie rockers Jimmy Eat World will be performing with a slew of other prominent KROQ-affiliated artists for this year's edition of Almost Acoustic Christmas at the Gibson Amphitheatre. Thes One and Double K, the self-proclaimed B-boys of People Under The Stairs, are poised to headline the El Rey Theatre. And, lastly, local indie rockers the Deadly Syndrome (LAist Review, #2, #3, #4) will be throwing their annual Christmas Sweater Festival at the Echoplex. But we strongly suggest doing whatever it takes to make it out the Glass House in Pomona to catch local noise-infused rock act No Age (LAist Review, #2, #3), who will be headlining the first ever FYF Xmas Party.
  • Tonight LA-bred indie rock outfit the Happy Hollows (LAist Review, #2, #3) will be headlining the Satellite, formerly known as Spaceland. Joey Ryan & Kenneth Pattengale are poised to grace the Hotel Café, opening up for pop singer-songwriter Bleu. And, lastly, local indie rockers Le Switch (LAist Review, #2, #3) will be taking on Redwood Bar & Grill in Downtown. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Echo to catch local blues-infused indie rock duo Rumspringa (LAist Review, #2), who recently released their debut full-length—2010's Sway. LAist favorites, local rock quintet Vanaprasta are slated to perform as well.
  • Tonight local indie rockers Kitten will be taking on the Echo one last time with none other than local indie rockers Red Cortez (LAist Review, #2, #3, #4) and the Sea of Cortez, who are touring in anticipation of their yet-to-be-released studio debut, 2010's Make It Sound. LA-based rock outfit Eastern Conference Champions are poised to grace the Hotel Café in anticipation of their latest full-length;2011's SPEAK-AHH. And, lastly, New Orleans-bred "sissy bounce" act Big Freedia will be headlining the Echoplex. But we strongly suggest doing whatever it takes to get into the Hollywood Palladium tonight to catch Cambridge-bred electro-pop outfit Passion Pit (LAist Review). LAist favorites, Silver Lake-based indie pop act Pepper Rabbit and Long Beach-based indie rockers We Barbarians.
  • Tonight Cincinnati-bred rock outfit the Greenhornes will be headlining the Troubadour with none other than San Antonio's own retro 50s/60s rock outfit Hacienda in tow. Local pop rock trio the Rescues are poised to grace the Hotel Café. And, lastly, LA-based indie rockers Sweaters will be performing at the Satellite, formerly known as Spaceland, with none other than Foreign Born side-project Big Search. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Echo to catch local indie rockers White Arrows. LAist favorites, local dance-infused rock duo IO Echo and Haim are slated to perform as well.
  • Tonight Eisley, a familial, Texan indie rock quintet, will be headlining the El Rey Theatre. Brooklyn-based experimental/avant-garde outfit Zs are poised to take on the Smell in Downtown. And, lastly, NY-based folk songstress Dar Williams will be gracing the Hotel Café. But we strongly suggest heading over to Origami Vinyl to catch Los Angeles-by-way-of-Michigan singer-songwriter Benji Schneider, otherwise known as Lord Huron, who will be ringing in his latest 7".
