Local folk rock outfit Tommy Santee Klaws are poised to perform at HM 157 in support of their brand-new album, 2010's Rakes. And, lastly, pop rock songstress Lelia Broussard will be gracing the Hotel Café in support of her latest record, Masquerade. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Troubadour to catch Liverpool-bred post-punk act Clinic, who are touring in support of their sixth album—2010's Bubblegum. LAist favorites, San Franciscan psych-infused rock outfit the Fresh & Onlys are slated to kick things off.
  • Tonight local multi-instrumentalist/producer extraordinaire Jon Brion (LAist Interview, #2, Review) will be jamming with friends at the Largo at the Coronet; And Jon's is performing less frequently these days, so you have no excuse to soak it up. Long Beach/Los Alamitos natives and recent Sub Pop signees Avi Buffalo (LAist Interview, Review) are poised to headline the Echoplex with none other than Los Angeles-by-way-of-Michigan singer-songwriter Benji Schneider, otherwise known as Lord Huron. And, lastly, San Franciscan rockers Eux Autres will be gracing Spaceland. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Bootleg Theater to catch London-bred experimental folk outfit Tunng, who are touring in support of their fourth record to date—2010's ...And Then We Saw Land. LAist favorites, Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter April Smith & The Great Picture Show (LAist Interview) are poise to kick things off.
  • Tonight the City of Brotherly Love's own folk-infused indie rockers Good Old War, who are touring in support of their second self-titled studio-album, will be gracing the Music Box at the Henry Fonda Theater. Queens' own indie pop buzz band Freelance Whales are poised to take on the Troubadour with none other than Phoenix-by-way-of-LA indie pop quartet Miniature Tigers (LAist Interview, Review). And, lastly, local alt-rockers Olin & the Moon (LAist Interview) will be headlining Spaceland. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Echo to catch Silver Lake-based indie pop act Pepper Rabbit, who will be ringing in their debut full-length, 2010's Beauregard. LAist favorites, local experimental indie pop quartet Hands are slated to kick things off.
  • Tonight New York-based indie rock trio Blonde Redhead will be headlining the Music Box at the Henry Fonda Theater, ringing in their eighth studio album, 2010's Penny Sparkle, with Icelandic songstress Olöf Arnalds in tow. Springfield's own indie pop act Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, who are touring in support of their 2010's Let It Sway, are poised to grace Spaceland with none other than Washington-based indie rock act the Lonely Forest. And, lastly, legendary London-bred experimental rock outfit the Legendary Pink Dots will be gracing the Echo, ringing in their 27th full-length to date—2010's Seconds Late For The Brighton Line. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Bootleg Theater to catch Austin-bred indie rock quartet Oh No Oh My, who are touring in support of their yet-to-be-released sophomore record, 2011's People Problems. LAist favorites, Cincinnati-based indie rockers Pomegranates and local act Rabbits Rabbits Rabbits are slated to kick things off.
  • Tonight local experimental two-man band El Ten Eleven will be performing for free, in-store at Origami Vinyl. LA-based garage rock outfit Dirt Dress will be headlining Spaceland. And, lastly, Echo Park's own psych-rockers Black Apples will be gracing the Echo with none other than LA Font, LA-based pop quartet Oh Darling, and Long Beach-bred one-man band Nima Kazeroun, who performs under the pseudonym So Many Wizards. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Silver Lake Lounge to catch local indie rock quintet the Sea of Cortez, who are touring in anticipation of their yet-to-be-released studio debut, 2010's Make It Sound.
  • Tonight local rockers Fistful of Mercy, a fledgling supergroup consisting of Dhani Harrison, Ben Harper and Joseph Arthur, will be concluding a two-night stint at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever. LA-based lo-fi pop act Best Coast will be doing the same at the Troubadour. And, lastly, Indianapolis-based indie rockers Margot & the Nuclear So and So's will be headlining Echoplex. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Music Box at the Henry Fonda Theater to catch Junip, an indie rock trio formed by critically-acclaimed singer-songwriter José González during his formative years.
  • Tonight local rockers Fistful of Mercy, a fledgling supergroup consisting of Dhani Harrison, Ben Harper and Joseph Arthur, will be gracing the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever. Norfolk-bred indie rock outfit Mae are poised to headline the El Rey Theatre. And, lastly, San Franciscan alternative country outfit Or, The Whale will be gracing Spaceland. But we strongly suggest doing whatever it takes to catch LA-based lo-fi pop act Best Coast, who will be performing at the Troubadour. It'll be your one of your last opportunities to catch them before they open for ... Weezer? Yeh, weird. LAist favorites, local post-punk act Dunes are slated to kick things off.
  • Tonight Canadian indie rock quintet Stars will be headlining the Wiltern with none other than San Franciscan indie pop trio Geographer in tow. LA-by-way-of-Michigan retro soul singer-songwriter Mayer Hawthorne is poised to grace the Music Box at the Henry Fonda Theater with actor/writer/comedian/MC Donald Glover, who performs under the pseudonym Childish Gambino. And, lastly, LA-based Cambodian rock outfit Dengue Fever will be providing the live score for the stop-motion film "The Lost World" at UCLA's Royce Hall. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Echoplex to catch NY-bred indie pop act the Pains of Being Pure at Heart (LAist Interview). LAist favorites, San Franciscan post-punk trio Weekend, who recently released one of 2010's most satisfyingly noisy discs, Sports, and "beach-pop" quartet Sonny & the Sunsets are slated to kick things off.
  • Tonight Cursive front man Tim Kasher will be headlining the Bootleg Theater. Local electronic mastermind Nosaj Thing is poised to take on the El Rey Theatre with South Carolina-bred experimental electro pop maestro Chaz Budnick, who performs under the moniker Toro Y Moi. And, lastly, San Diegan garage rockers the Soft Pack will be gracing the Echoplex with Philadelphia-based singer-songwriter Kurt Vile and the Violators. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Echo to catch San Franciscan "beach-pop" quartet Sonny & the Sunsets. LAist favorites, Denver's own husband-wife duo Tennis are slated to kick things off.
  • Tonight the Killers front man Brandon Flowers will be headlining the Wiltern with none other than Travis front man Fran Fealy. Oakland-based lo-fi garage punk visionary Justin Champlin, otherwise known as Nobunny, is poised to take on Spaceland with lo-fi post-punk rockers the Intelligence, which of course features A Frames drummer Lars Finberg. And, lastly, Colorado-based duo Candy Claws will be gracing the Bootleg Theater with fellow Coloradans the Chain Gang of 1974 in tow. But we strongly suggest heading over to Bardot to catch Gainesville-based indie rock sextet Papercranes, which features actress/singer Rain Phoenix.
