But according to a lawsuit filed by one former cast member, things got out of hand one night, and the whole thing was caught on tape. Tonya Cooley, who originally starred on "The Real World" Chicago" is suing MTV, Bunim/Murray Productions, Kenneth Santucci, Evan Starkman and others.

It seems like everyone is going pink these days in support of breast cancer awareness, and apparently skateboarders didn't want to be left out. Tomorrow, local nonprofit Boarding for Breast Cancer will play host to an 18-mile ride down the Pacific coast, beginning in Santa Monica and ending in Redondo Beach, intended to raise funds and awareness for the disease.

If you're looking to up the ante on the legitimate fear factor of your Halloween, try this on for size -- a jail in Norwalk is going to transport its inmates elsewhere this October 31, and deck the prison out as a haunted house. Deputy Frank Barragan told the Huffington Post that the Norwalk Sheriff's Station and the Lakewood Station will be filled with your typical Halloween characters: ghosts, goblins, witches and vampires.

Early this morning, a suspected drunk driver crashed his car through a brick wall and into a ten-foot deep swimming pool in Buena Park, reports KTLA. The home, on the 64,000 block of Dale Street, is being rented by three Cal State Fullerton students, who say they were minding their own business, studying, and getting ready to go to sleep when the accident happened.

Things are getting rough for smokers in Hermosa Beach -- a new ordinance has banned them from sucking down their beloved carcinogens in any outdoor place that people congregate, according to the Daily Breeze. The new regulation, which was approved by the town's City Council in a 4-0 vote on Tuesday night, is expected to go into effect on March 1, 2012.

A Santa Ana man who set his girlfriend on fire during a fight has been sentened to 15 years in prison, reports CBS Los Angeles. Constantino Monterrosas Gamez, 39, plead guilty last week to attempted murder, making criminal threats, false imprisonment and great bodily injury.

A family in Cypress was saved from their home by Good Samaritans after a fire broke out last night, reports KTLA. The fire started on the 5000 block of Citation Avenue in the home of Jonnard Albayalde while he was at work and his family was inside.

A customer walking into your store wearing a gorilla mask is probably never a good sign, and that was definitely the case for one taco shop owner in La Mesa last night. KTLA reports that two men walked into Aliberto's Taco Shop around midnight yesterday. One ordered a burrito, and as the clerk was busy preparing it, the other began demanding money.
