My favorite types of stories make me care about something I didn’t think I’d find important.
I’m a former producer for LAist Studios: How To LA.
My favorite things to do here are rockclimb and cook. I also sometimes film things, and I main Ness.

Earlier this year, Pacoima Beautiful painted 10 square blocks and murals with a special coat that mitigates the hotness of the asphalt, reflects solar waves and beautifies the area. -
Chinatown hasn't had a grocery store in three years; a new farmers' market fills some of the void. -
Farmers' markets make it easy to find local, organic produce, and the open air can make grocery shopping feel like less of a chore. -
City Bean paved the way for L.A.'s current coffee scene. In the pandemic, it's trying to highlight the importance of locally owned businesses. -
Jess Starwood used to forage wild fruits and herbs for some of L.A.'s top restaurants. When they fully reopen, she's not sure she'll sell to them again.
