A Los Angeles couple is suing a man who leased them a home without bothering to mention that it had once been a meth lab. Last May William Mohler and his wife Rebecca Popkin—three months pregnant at the time—moved into the home on Chase Avenue.

Right now teachers' contracts require the district to toss out anything in their files older than four years old that doesn't result in any discipline. So if a parent makes a serious allegation or a principal includes a warning or concern about a teacher, but nothing comes of it after four years, those notes are tossed out or put in an "expired" file.

A manager was taken hostage at a bank in Orange County this morning. An armed suspect walked into Saehan Bank in Buena Park around 11 am today and ordered everyone to leave except a manager, according to City News Service.
