  • One man is in critical condition and the other stable today, police told LAist, after a dispute that may have stemmed from a love triangle gone wrong. A woman was detained and a gun was recovered at the scene, where one man was grazed in the head by a bullet and another was shot three times in the leg and torso.
  • Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca isn’t the only one resigning. The beleaguered sheriff also has asked one of his top aides, Bishop Edward Turner, to step down. ABC7 reports Turner will step down from his duty as a field commander pending an investigation over commercial property Turner owns renting to an illegal pot dispensary.
  • UCLA's Meteorite Gallery, which officially opened Friday and is free to the public, has the largest collection of meteorites in California and the fifth largest collection in the country. The collection includes pieces from 1,500 individual meteorites.
  • A 54-year-old woman was hit by a private tour bus and killed Saturday morning in South Los Angeles. Meanwhile, two first responders and a driver were injured in a car accident blocks away as paramedics rushed to the woman.
  • Actor David Cassidy was arrested Friday on suspicion of drunk driving, TMZ reports. Cassidy made an illegal right onto La Tijera Blvd. after exiting the 405 freeway. The officer who pulled him over smelled alcohol and ran a field sobriety test, which Cassidy failed, blowing a .19.
  • Snapchat will launch a reportedly safer version of its popular messaging app. But if your information was hacked, it’s still out there. The new version of Snapchat will allow users to opt out of Find Friends, but a cached version of the site used to publish the content is still accessible today.
