  • And now for your daily “aww”: A healthy baby girl was delivered by a police officer at a Simi Valley gas station parking lot Saturday. Simi Valley police officer Kyle Crocker delivered the baby.
  • A photo emerged of Justin Bieber and his friend Khalil Sharieff getting raunchy with a topless stripper at a recent party. The photo from TMZ shows Bieber and Sharieff each with their mouths on one of the stripper’s breasts.
  • Despite news yesterday that St. Louis Rams owner Stan Kroenke bought 60 acres of land in Inglewood, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said "there are no plans, to my knowledge, of a stadium development." At least 24 of the league's 32 owners need to approve a team's move to Los Angeles, but several teams are said to be interested in L.A.
  • One day in and interim LA County Sheriff John Scott has already suspended the department’s controversial field deputy program as allegations fly that participants received six-figure salaries for doing little. An investigation shows field deputy Michael Yamaki earned $171,931 a year while being spotted hitting up a Pacific Palisades golf course in a county car.
  • The State Water Project announced Friday it would be closing the faucet on water we get from Northern California. The State Water Project hasn’t cut off its supply in more than five decades.
  • A 22-year old man was killed when his car hit a curb and went high into the air before crashing into a house and coming to rest on top of a masonry wall in Coto de Caza. Capt. Steve Concialdi of the Orange County Fire Authority estimated the Mazda S hatchback went airborne for 40 to 50 feet before hitting the house at 7:40 p.m. last night.

  • Police have arrested a man suspected of stabbing another man to death on the Metro Red Line Monday. Investigators arrested Angelo Correia, 25, Friday in his North Hollywood home after an anonymous tip came in regarding the murder of 34-year-old Jose Velazco-Alvarado.
