Christopher Schwarzenegger, the youngest child of divorcing couple Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, remains hospitalized after being involved in a serious surfing accident. The accident took place last weekend in Malibu, says TMZ, who report that Christopher, 13, suffered "multiple broken bones and a collapsed lung."

He has been kept company by his mother, and his father has made several visits to the unidentified hospital where the teen is recuperating. "Christopher's condition has now been upgraded and he will be OK," adds the celeb gossip site.

The surfing accident is part of what is unfolding as a difficult July for the Schwarzenegger-Shriver camp. On July 1, Shriver filed for divorce from Schwarzenegger, and this week, he replied via papers filed agreeing with all her terms, save for his objection to paying her spousal support and legal fees.
