Xmas Party Brawl Leaves 7 Sheriff's Deputies Suspended
A festive gathering for employees of the Men's Central Jail got rowdy on Friday, and the resulting brawl has left seven Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies suspended with pay and the subject of an investigation, says LA Now. About 100 guests attended the gathering at Montebello's Quiet Cannon banquet hall. A spokesman says he can't confirm that alcohol was involved, but given the nature of the party, "one could assume there was."
